Dan Reemsnyder, New England Institute of Technology; AHIT graduate – has been inspecting homes for nearly 5 years.  With additional experience in remodeling and renovations, he is well versed on all components of the home.  Continuing education courses keep inspectors informed about new building trends and inspection procedures.

Some buyers may question the need for a home inspection, particularly if the home they are buying is fairly new.  Most inspections reveal unexpected deficiencies or shortcomings about the home.  In many cases, these issues are addressed in the contract negotiations, saving you the cost of repairs or replacement.  At the very least, you will prevent unwanted surprises after the closing.  

Your inspector will take you through the home, pointing out problem areas, and educating you on the components of your new home.  But you won't have to take notes, because everything will be included in the written report. 

Our written report includes all components and will identify areas that need repair, replacement, or monitoring for future changes.  It will also identify safety issues and major concerns, giving you a clear understanding of the condition of the home. This web-based report is issued within 24-48 hours of the inspection, and has numerous photos to clearly identify concerns. The narrative style report also makes recommendations for improvements.
